You can become a student if you were born in New Zealand or the Pacific Islands, or have New Zealand residency and did not learn to read and write in your own country.

In-home Support: Referring on to recommended services (eg. trade services) that can provide for the necessary maintenance work to be done in client’s homes.

The first Alliance was founded in Paris in 1883 and nowadays there are nearly 1000 such associations throughout the world, including 10 centres in New Zealand.
The Alliance Francaise Auckland offers French language classes to both adults and children and organises social and cultural events (exhibitions, concerts, cinema…). Being a not for profit organisation supported by the French Embassy, fees charged are only intended to cover expenses.

The Alliance française promotes cultural diversity and an idea of globalisation respectful of differences. There is no need to be fluent in French to be a member of our Alliance and enjoy our activities as most of our events are bilingual.

Deaf, hearing impaired and hearing are welcomed in our modern clubroom to meet fellow Aucklanders who use NZSL (New Zealand Sign Language)! If you’re interested in learning New Zealand Sign Language, or building on what you already know, we also run a full NZSL programme for families and adults.
